1st Pyromusical Competition (World Pyrolympics 2009)

This year is the launching of the first Pyromusical Competition in the Phils.

Nine countries namely, South Korea, Germany, USA, China, Japan, Australia, Canada, Italy and the Philippines will showcase their technical abilities and artistry through fireworks synchronized with musical scores. I am sure this would be a world class event that we should watch out for.

Schedules of competition are:

Nov. 14 – South Korea and USA

Nov. 21 – Germany and China

Nov. 28 – Japan and Australia

Dec. 5 – Canada and Italy

Dec. 12 – Philippines

There will be a new venue that will hold this event. Instead of the usual water-based area, the new venue will be held at a ground level which will allow for better creativity and visual effects. The change of venue may be due to the reason that musical scoring will be included in the competition.

This will be located at The Fort Open Grounds behind High Street, near MC Home Depot.
